Tonight was absolutely a great night. Swimming in the pool at 12am, seeing many shooting stars that were huge, & the stars were beautiful because tonight’s moon was New moon, as in no moon meaning the stars were clearly visible. It was beautiful not to mention, I had the company of my friend Savannah. We lit some candles and just sat & talked about life. It’s great to do stuff like that every once in a while. Really relieves you of stress & helps you relax. Maybe you should try a great night sometime (:

In case you never knew, I’m a 70′s rock fan. It all looked so fun. The group of bands that were crazy, fun, loud, and not so heavy like today’s rock bands; just too much. The 70′s were the perfect example of rock legends. Good news; I’m starting a 70′s based all females band & people may or may not life it, but hey it’ll all be fun & worth it. People, Love, Things… They all come; But they also go.
Sometimes letting go isn’t as easy as holding on. Sometimes holding on can be harder than letting it go. When life introduces us to new things and people, we’re caught up in the moment & we don’t remember to think how long all of it might last. Now, I’m not saying to always look at everything n life as if it were going to be taken away tomorrow, but to always be prepared or the surprises life will throw on your path. And, when life tells you to ‘let go’ of something.. Sometimes it’s because letting go is the best thing to do because in certain situations, holding on can cause more pain and damage than letting go can.

Short, Quick & Simple! I’m going to the Arts Institue, & I’m phyced. I can’t wait to start already, I know I’ll make it far (only the faithful make it). I’m having a “cocky” day you can say. I feel like I’m on top, or like “I got this”. That’s because life keeps throwing stuff at me and I dodge them or somehow learn to work through them and then end up 10 steps ahead. It sucks when you’re first going through it because you feel like you’ll never make it out, and that’s normal… Or like my friend says… “That means you’re human, Annie”. My friends right; that does mean we’re human. We have the right to cry and be upset at first. It’s one thing to cry a little and be upset, and another to pity yourself. Pity for yourself is never good because then you start to care-less what other people think and care-less where your life takes you and you accept anything that comes to you… In other words… It turns you into an underachiever in many aspects. Now here’s the thing. Through out highschool, I was home-schooled. I learned the lessons by readind them and basically teaching myself, then turning in the work. It’s a great expereince if you have the dicepline you need to tell youself to sit there and do the work. Now that I’m going to the “Arts Institute (AI)”, I realized that the past four years, I haven’t made much friends, because I was always busy with school trying to graduate as early as possible… And I am 100% fine with that. I’m fine with the fact I don’t have many friends, because not having so many friends means not having so much drama, gossip, and all that dumb stuff that holds people back from achieving their maximum goals. Who says that I’m going to the AI for friends? Who says I’m here for people to like me? I’m here to persue, I’m here to discover & gain what’s meant for me to gain… With or without ‘friends’. I’m here to persue my career and finally be an amazing photographer as I always dreamed, and produce music, write lyrics and sing.
People used to tell me “that’s horrible!” when I would tell them that I’m homeschooled because they felt I was loner since I didn’t have as much friends, but now I’m about to become a very big walking testimony that sometimes not having a lot of friends in life can actually be beneficial. Not having a lot of friends made me different than everyone else. I talk, act, and dress different than most girls. I am different and I’m proud of it :]
You can be different too. Everyone can be different. Who says you have to follow the crowd? WHo says you need 300 or 500 friends? Who says you need to have 1,000 “myspace or facebook friends” like most people? Who says? I say have 70 friends, 40, or even just a simple 20… If fine because they do not determine your future… You do.

Alright guys! It’s sunny outside, clear blue skies, and in the 70′s! Today is a great day because last night was a good night. SO you guys alrighty know that I’m Annie (to those who are new, I’m Annie), but many people call me mzkoolgurl or for short of that, mkg. My blog page is “mzkoolgurl’s news flash”, and my famouse “line” is “Teens can hear it from a teen. We’re walking curiosity, don’t judge us; lead us”. So, yesterday I met up with Danah (sorry guys, not photo of Danah!), and we both came up with this great idea of starting an international bible study/inspirational page spot/humor spot. It’s a great way to not only be in a great mood and get some inspirational weekly (Sundays, Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays will be our posting days — COMING SOON!) but a great way to interact with other :] I’m mzkoolgurl, and she has a program called “myWAR” (for more information, please email Danah at mywar55@aim.com), and we have decided to unite and creat this amazing page that will be open and available to everyone very soon, with easy access and navigation through the page, one-click access to what you are looking for exactly (from topics like inspirationals, bible study, jokes, and TGIF (friday specials). Hello world!
So I was taking a look at my stats, and noticed they’ve dropped just a bit… Oh no! That means the readers are going to miss out on great content, humor, real life stories! That’s not good. Alright so here’s my plan that ‘ve decided to involve each one of you in. Invite new readers to join in and read my weekly post! It’s only going to get better, much better 
I promise! I’d love to share great topics and advise…. And of course some sarcasm and humor with you guys. My writing is a talent i’d like to experience with the world, not just myself :]

So I think it’s safe to POST not say, but POST, a ‘normal’ blog. So today, I had a rather interesting day you can say. Let’s start by saying today happened because of a simple 7 minute conversation with my friend yesterday. So I was shooting hoops at 8:30 last night, & my friend calls me, we planned to hang out today so I figured I should get done some stuff around the house tidy it up. So well, you can say I over did it… I didn’t just tidy it up, but I made it SPOTLESS… literally. I scrubbed the walls (just incase you did not know.. walls do collect dust after a while), swept, mopped about twice thanks to my wet dog after bathing him soaking it completely 
Oiled out all the wood tables and stands, cleaned the ktchen sink, stove, the bathroom had spring cleaning done, the arcade room nice & neat… Everything was clean and then I topped it off by spraing Febreeze everywhere giving it a hint of Vanilla :] So I did this all so my friend could come over, even though we were going to start off our day outside playing hoops, then come in watch some movies, hang out etc etc. Well… Let’s go with ‘plans changed’. Family came over sdtarted dancing… My uncle was booty shaking (is that supposed to be normal..? Well in my family… yes). My aunt, mom & dad just laughed & me…. Well I did what I always do in those crazy moments, record everything… and text my friend to tell them what’s happening. So then I was going to stay home expecting my frfiend but heard they were all taking a ride in the back of the truck (video coming soon), so I went. It was fun, we were banging on the truck the whole way to their house making beats catching just about everyone’s attention & even making one police guy laugh ) Then we get there, I’m expecting this visit to be short.. at least 30 minutes to an hour as they said it would be.. well… Guess where I am now at 11:54pm since 3pm… The same place Im surrounded by ‘bachata’.. not really a big fan of it… my Cuban family playing dominos, yelling, chicharones are being cooked so that all i’ve been smelling sinc about 7pm.. my dog is real thirsty, I think the music is getting to him… Oh yeah, he did come with us in the back of the truck.. quite funny, he looked chinese from the wind blowing in his face… so as most would say… there’s always a bright side to everything… I got to see legion online, I’m soupposing there will be a part two…& I get to text my friends…. but I’m still bummed about the music and the fact that im still sitting here, never got to hang out with my friend… & im still dead tired from last night’s party I forgot to mention

I know everyone has seen what’s going on with Haiti. The horrible eathquake that struck at a magnitude of 7.0 on such a small island east of Dominican Republic. They have raised millions of dollars to help Haiti, and tonight there is a “Hope for Haiti” broadcasting live on MTV, VH1, NGC, etc. at 8pm. In Miami/Homestead alone, there are 45,000 Haitens… Some are bruttally injured.
These are helpless people trying to cope with a situation so sudden. Imagine living on a small island, & you’re with friends, family, & loved ones… Suddenlyeverything shakes and rumbles. When you look up, you see devestation… tears… blood… a crisis in the blink of an eye. That’s exactly what happened to these people of Haiti. 140,000 people already dead. Out of these 140,000 people…. None will get a personal grave. All will be burried in mass graves.
It’s sad to say that none just a pool pf blood was shed, but an ongoing river of blood was shed. Many will never be identified… Many were just children….infants…Parents… they were people like you and I. They were innocent people who already had it bad because Haiti is Haiti… They don’t have what we have… They don’t get to do what we do.
Why should they die or go through such a disaster?

But even in the deapths of their situation… The people of Haiti are still being faithful that brighter days are yet to come and they still praise and pray to God… because he is the only one who will get them out of there.
The next time you feel you have it hard, you should try to remember what the people of Haiti are still going through almost 2 weeks after the earthquake. Help Haiti, donate food, money, or medical supplies to your local news station. These people need it more than we do.
